What is a lightning conductor test?

A Lightning Protection test

(LPT) involves all lightning conductors and earth grounding installations being visually inspected and tested by a qualified Electrical Engineer.

Why is this test required?

BSEN:62305 standard was recently updated, you may need us to assess the functionality and safety of your systems if you haven’t done so for a number of years.

It is essential to ensure that you regularly inspect and test your lightning protection systems to ensure conductors remain in a safe and effective condition, which is in accordance with relevant British Standards, i.e BS6651 or BS EN 62305, it is essential to ensure a regular lightning conductor test is carried out.
