Periodic Inspection

Periodic Inspection Explained

As with all fabrications within a property, electrical installations deteriorate over time which is suggested within the electricity at work regulations act, and often requested by insures.

The periodic inspection and testing will highlight any lack of earthing or bonding within the electrical circuits or equipment. The price you pay is dependant upon the amount of electrical circuits within your property, on average we would test around 50 circuits per day which are located within your distribution boards, to the standards of the wiring regulations BS 7671.

Example Report
periodic inspection

Provided with the electrical installation report EICR

The installation condition report EICR, will identify any defective electrical work in accordance with current safety standards, plus any wear and tear found upon light fittings, switches and distribution boards.

The periodic test provides an assessment of the condition of the wiring from each fixed circuit within the distribution board  to each fitting (sockets, switches, lights).

Our electrical inspection and testing is carried out to the current standards and requirements of BS 7671.
